Situated as it is in the centre of the face, the nose has a very big impact on a person’s overall appearance. A rhinoplasty procedure is concerned with the bones and cartilage of the nose. Depending on the concerns of the particular patient, it can range from simple to complex surgery, and is one of the most popular aesthetic surgeries in Ireland. The procedure can address a number of issues, from removing a small bump on the bridge of the nose or reducing the size of an excessively large nose, to straightening a nose made crooked by design, by accident, or simply by nature.

A cosmetic surgeon needs to be more than a skilled hand and an expert in human anatomy. They need to be an artist too, and have a very good aesthetic eye. This is because one of the most important things in any cosmetic treatment is symmetry.

Where once it might have been unusual for a man to pay much attention to his appearance, grooming and looking your best are very much the norm now. You could say the era of ‘the metrosexual’ is over and today, there is really nothing newsworthy about men wanting to look good.
